Off-Exchange Wallets

In order to provide greater security around collateral and decouple itself as much as possible from centralized venues, DoubleMarket will at all times hold the minimum possible amounts of margin directly on-exchange without introducing liquidation risk. To achieve this, DoubleMarket will only transact on venues that permit off-exchange margining and settlement, and use MPC custody solutions such Fireblocks Off Exchange.

Daily Sweep

Each day, the DoubleMarket protocol will progressively derisk custody for token holders in the following order: Withdrawable amounts on venue will be moved into into the MPC-Active wallet Settled amounts for matured contracts will be moved into the MPC-Matured wallet

Amounts held by the protocol’s MPC-Matured wallet can only move concurrently with an equivalent token redemption.
